✍🏽 About the Author

Anthony Carmichael is not just an author — he’s a movement in motion.

Born and raised in the tough neighborhoods of Toronto, Anthony grew up surrounded by hardship, violence, and a system that too often wrote off kids like him before they ever had a chance. But through faith, grit, and relentless self-education, he flipped the script and decided to rewrite his own story.

After surviving a life that could have easily ended behind bars or in tragedy, Anthony made a radical choice — to build something bigger. He dove headfirst into entrepreneurship, studying business, branding, and money management not in classrooms, but through books, experience, and the school of hard knocks. Every mistake became a lesson, every loss became leverage, and every setback became part of the foundation that built Rich Kid, Poor Kid.

What started as a small project to teach financial literacy and entrepreneurship to inner-city youth has grown into a global mission — to equip the next generation with the tools, mindset, and systems to build wealth, think independently, and break generational cycles.

Anthony writes in a voice that speaks to the streets, the dreamers, and the underdogs — the kids no one believed in. His words are raw, real, and rooted in purpose. Every book is designed to turn doubt into discipline, pain into power, and hustle into legacy.

Through Rich Kid, Poor Kid and its companion resources — including The ChatGPT CEO Workbook and The Classroom Curriculum Kit — Anthony is partnering with schools, programs, and community leaders across North America to make financial education accessible to every child who needs it.

He often says:

“My goal was to become the person I needed when I was growing up.”

That mission fuels everything he does — from the books he writes, to the programs he builds, to the students he inspires.

From the block to the boardroom, from street kid to CEO — Anthony Carmichael is living proof that your past does not define your future. His story isn’t just about success — it’s about redemption, faith, and the power of transformation.
